St. Paul boys lacrosse shows off high-powered offense

The only things that have stopped St. Paul boys lacrosse this season are the weather and a slow start against Watertown.

The Falcons didn’t play their first game until April 8, when they blew out Achievement First Amistad Academy 16-1 on the road. On April 10, St. Paul had its home opener against Western Connecticut Lacrosse Conference foe Watertown, and it won 14-1. The Falcons have outscored their first two opponents 30-2 — yup, 30-2 — showing the same explosive offense that they possessed last season.

In the win over Watertown, sophomore Brycen Kennedy led the offense, but got plenty of help from senior Kevin Ashworth and junior Tucker Raymond. That same trio gave opposing defenses fits throughout last season. Ashworth is joined on the team by fellow seniors Charlie Panke, Ryan Mikosz, Ryan Prendergast, Connor Bogdanski, Connor Lozito, Joseph Sefcik, Garrett Gay, John Ivers and Christian Peterson.
