A pair of junior runners put in good performances on Saturday at the New England Interscholastic Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center in Boston.
Wolcott junior Kathryn Rodrigues finished sixth in the mile and earned All-New England honors. She finished the race in a time of 5:03.88 and broke her own school record.
Bristol Central junior Jose Ramirez took seventh in the 600m, and while he missed out on All-New England honors by one spot, he had a good consolation prize. Ramirez owns the school record in the 600m after finishing the race in a time of 1:23.25.
Crosby senior Elijah Lewis also ran in the 600m at the New England meet. He finished 12th in a time of 1:24.99
