Fresh off of a 50-21 dual meet win over Plainville, Bristol Central wrestling took on some good competition at Saturday’s Hand Duals in Madison.
The Rams finished fourth with a 2-2 record. Central has an overall dual meet record of 13-4, including a perfect 2-0 against CCC South Division competition.
Central defeated Fairfield Ludlowe 40-27 and Notre Dame West-Haven 59-24 in Pool B, but lost to Wethersfield. The Rams were defeated 54-16 by the hosts from Daniel Hand in the third place match.
Central hosts CCC South foe Middletown on Wednesday. The Rams head for the Griswold Invitational on Saturday.
