GIRLS VOLLEYBALL: Kennedy tops St. Paul in NVL showdown

Kennedy turned an NVL girls volleyball showdown against St. Paul into a three-set sweep on Tuesday night in Bristol.

The Eagles defeated the Falcons 3-0 and improved to 9-2 on the season. St. Paul dropped to 7-3 with the loss. The set scores were 25-18, 25-17 and 25-22, according to a result reported to The Zone.

Kennedy was led by Arianna Padilla, Hannah West, Marin Delaney and Vivian Bunker. Padilla had 18 digs and two aces; West tallied six kills and four blocks; Delaney recorded 17 assists and five aces; and Bunker added five kills and six blocks. For St. Paul, Kelsi Blatchley had six kills and Olivia Genovese tallied four kills.
