Former Holy Cross standout Michael Mallory had a monster game for Southern Connecticut State men’s basketball last week, and he was named Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Week.
The honor was announced by the league today in a press release. Mallory, a junior guard, erupted for 43 points, including nine 3-pointers, in a 107-94 win over American International College last Tuesday. Mallory missed the school record by a mere three points in the highest point total by a SCSU player in nearly 40 years.
Mallory also pulled in six rebounds, collected two steals and blocked two shots.
SCSU plays three times this week, starting with tonight’s home conference contest against LIU Post.
