It was tough to find a lot of positives in UConn football’s 41-10 loss at North Carolina State University on Saturday, but there was one from a local product.
Former Bristol Central superstar Victor Rosa scored on an 11-yard run in the fourth quarter for the Huskies. It was the second career touchdown for Rosa. He carried six times for a team-high 43 yards and the touchdown.
Rosa had a 27-yard kickoff return late in the first quarter and wound up with two returns for 38 yards. He also caught one pass, but was stopped for a four-yard loss.
