During the school year, Amy Traver is an art teacher at Sacred Heart High School.
Outside of school, Traver can lift weights and lift them well. Traver works out with Strength Academy, LLC, and she competes in 100% Raw Federation powerlifting events.
After a recent American Challenge event, Traver can add something else to her personal resume, and that is world record holder.
Traver, 51, set world records in the strict curl and the deadlift in the Masters 50-54 division. Traver put up 77.1 pounds in the strict curl, then totaled 330.1 pounds in the deadlift.
