First game played on new turf at Bristol Central High School

The Bristol Central junior varsity football team had the privilege of being the first to play a game on the new turf at Bristol Central High School.

The Rams took on the E.O. Smith JV contingent on a sunny, blue Halloween afternoon.

“First game on new Turf,” read a tweet on the Bristol Central athletics Twitter account. “BC JV football up 6-0 against EO Smith at the half.”

You can see photographic proof to the right of this post, via the Bristol Central athletics Twitter account.

Bristol Central’s varsity football program was the first to practice on the new turf.
The turf isn’t the only new facet of the Ram home field. Lights have also been installed, meaning night games can be played here.
