University of New Haven senior Briana Bradford has been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Honor Roll after a strong effort last week.
Bradford was recognized by the league today in a press release. The former Holy Cross standout averaged 21.5 points per game in two contests last week.
Last Tuesday, Bradford connected for 23 points in a 72-63 conference loss to Adelphi University. She made 7-of-13 shots from the floor, including 3-of-5 from three-point range. Bradford made 6-of-9 from the foul line and grabbed three rebounds to go along with three assists and one steal.
Last Saturday, Bradford scored 20 points and five rebounds in a 70-53 win over Goldy-Beacom. Bradford made 7-of-13 shots from the floor, hit on 6-of-7 at the foul line, dished out three assists and came up with a steal.
Bradford leads UNH in points per game (18.3) and minutes (36.2), according to a story on the team website announcing her as a NewHavenChargers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.
UNH plays two games this week, starting with a 5:30 p.m. Northeast-10 matchup at home against Southern Connecticut State University.
